First thing first, this hotel comes with its own hot spring bathing facility. its mixed gender. However the male side from experience had one large indoor bath, one outdoor, one iron tub outside, and a iron tub cold water bath, along with a Sauna. I also liked the fact they provided a seasonal cooling shampoo and body soap. which was much appreciated when the temperature was 37 degrees. The hot spring was really comfortable, and i recommend taking advantage of it. The hotel also provide a range of free ammenties nothing too fancy, but still appreciated. The thing I really enjoyed was the fact it provided half a bowl of ramen for free 11pm is the closing time. Free Ice cream for using the bath and free yakult in the morning. They even have a coffee machine (Be warned its extra hot, even the cups fee boiling after, hotel might want to consider a different cup.) The 10th floor where the bath is located also houses the ice machine, vending machines and a rest area with a view and lots of manga to read. The room was ok. felt more like a Japanese apartment because the room had a hallway that seperated the bathroom and toilet from the main room. Oh i also forgot to mention the free pudding in the fridge as a complimentary welcome.

Excellent location, amazing top floor artesian alkaline onsen (hot spring baths) and sauna facilities with separate portions for gentlemen and ladies, with yakult lactobacillus shooters in the morning and cold fruit or vanilla-chocolate popsicles in the evening as after onsen refreshments; free half bowls of ramen at night until 23:00, which are not too small at all; meticulous, friendly and effective housekeeping staff with daily options for cleaning/no-cleaning and fresh towel service. Clear and informative signage for first time onsen visitors, and attentive management who are responsive when there are any issues to resolve. Front desk was more than happy to accommodate a week-plus extension of our initial two night stay. Family friendly, great value for cost and within walking distance of central Morioka, the castle park, main street neighborhood dining and evening izakaya (drinking establishments with great skewers of tasty goodness). Don't miss the puppy cafe around the corner or the exotic owl cafe and Jajamen noodles downstairs of the wonderful Gusto Cafe.

Onsen on the roof. Extremely clean. Reliable parking. Option to pay for breakfast on a day by day basis. Efficient elevators. Yummy breakfast with good variety. Everything was in English and explained so you didn't misunderstand if you're a non-japanese speaker. Give you a nice pajamas to lounge around in on your way to the Onsen and anywhere in the hotel. Excellent location five blocks from the main train station. Booking seems to want to put the negative comment that I made about the parking first so including some details here just realized that there's stacked parking in a silo type structure that is like a giant elevator think of a Hot Wheels toy but in real life. Only certain size cars very small ones can fit. Parking was 1,000 yen a day this could easily be spoken of in websites and advertising. The other option is in small parking lots proximal to the hotel. If you're like me and dragging a bunch of ski gear around every day that's not that convenient. Again it would be easy for the hotel and for booking to make people aware of these details8

Very decent location, about 15-20 minute walk from Morioka Station or a 10 minute bus ride. The staff are polite, welcoming and helpful with any queries. You get a free soft drink as a welcome gift, there are also free noodles in the evening, ice cream or yoghurt drink after the bath The room was pristine clean, little jelly in the fridge was a nice touch. The bed was very comfy, one of the best I've had in Japan! The single room is quite spacious considering, as long as you're not travelling with a lot of luggage. Very nice communal large bath, the outside bath water was the perfect temperature for the winter air. Breakfast had lots of variety and not a lot of people at 6:30am.

Carlos

Breakfast was great and the highlight is definitely the onsen at the top floor - you can even have free ice cream/yakult after a relaxing bath. There are other free services such as coffee and free ramen at night that I did not manage to try but I could see that the hotel really takes pride in taking care of its guests. Oddly, I had limited interaction w staff other that during check in and during breakfast but that's okay for an introvert like me :) Room was big for its type compared to similar room types in other cities and bed was comfy as well. It is also a good 10 min morning walk away from the split rock cherry blossom tree.
